Barberton Post Acute Activities Department will never let you be bored. We have a full calendar of daily events – from live music to field trips to games.

Dining


Eating should be an enjoyable experience. Our dining team will ensure that you enjoy every meal you have at Barberton Post Acute. We craft our meals to the dietary and therapeutic needs of our residents.

Our dining room is spacious and comfortable. You’ll enjoy talking with friends while you eat.

Social Services


During transitional periods, our Social Services team will help both our residents and their families. We can assist with discharge planning, mental health needs, and legal assistance. We also offer transportation to and from appointments. Our team will also help manage requests.

Resident Advocacy

We advocate on behalf of residents to ensure their voices are heard, their preferences are honored, and their concerns are addressed promptly. We promote a respectful, person-centered environment where residents feel empowered and supported.

Legal Assistance 

We help residents and families navigate important legal matters related to medical care and planning, including guidance on advance directives, power of attorney, and access to community legal resources.

Mental Health Services

Our social workers provide support, counseling, and referrals to address depression, anxiety, adjustment challenges, and other mental health needs to promote coping, engagement, and a positive quality of life during their stay.

Discharge Planning & Transitions

Whether returning home or moving to another facility, our social workers help residents with the transition to their next level of care.

Courtyard & Common Spaces


Barberton Post Acute has plenty of comfortable chairs and spacious open spaces to ensure your comfort. Feel free to relax alone or with new friends or family. Outside, we have plenty of green space for when you need fresh air or want to go for a short walk. Our campus will please everyone.
