He constantly expressed how grateful he was for everyone and how wonderful the staff was. He truly enjoyed getting to know everyone and always had such positive things to say about the care he received. When he transitioned to hospice, the compassion and dedication of the nurses meant more to our family than words can express. They were so caring, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. One nurse even set a timer for his medication to ensure he stayed comfortable and was never left in pain. That level of love, attention, and genuine compassion brought our family so much comfort during such a difficult time. He also really enjoyed getting out of his room, participating in therapy, and joining the community exercise group. He would often rave to our family about how much he enjoyed these activities, and it made us so happy to know he was engaged, active, and enjoying his time there. As his family, we are incredibly grateful to every nurse, caregiver, therapist, and staff member who played a part in his care. You made a difficult time a little easier by treating him with such kindness, dignity, and compassion.
